In my opinion no alternative energy technology shares the tremendous potential that solar power exhibits. Once installed properly a solar electric panel will quietly and efficiently convert energy from the sun into valuable electricity with no moving parts while consuming no resources and producing no waste products for a virtually unlimited period of time.

Solar hot water and lighting systems provide low-tech and cost effective solutions for significantly reducing energy consumption.

I have been working in the solar industry since 2002 including three years full time as an engineer at PowerLight one of the largest and most successful solar companies in North America.
